Next day he sees the girl again and starts to follow her just to know where she is going. The girl enters a medical store and she works there. The man gets happy and decides to get close to her. The next day the man goes to the medical with sun glasses on. He says that he has started to have a very blu*rry vision and he needed medicine for it. The same girl is in the medical. She gives him an eye drop and asks him to use it two times a day. She also adds that he should come again if it does not work. The man obeys. He gives her money and walks off.

Nepali feature film, Kabaddi, has been bestowed with the National Film awards as the best film of the year.President Ram Baran Yadav distributed awards to filmmakers in eight different categories during the award ceremony organised at the president’s office, Shital Niwas, on Tuesday.Similarly, writers Ram Babu Gurung and Upendra Subba were awarded best writers for the same film that has actors Dayahang Rai, Nischal Basnet and Rishma Gurung in the lead roles. Likewise, Dayahang Rai was awarded the best actor (male) for his role in ‘Sambodhan’.For the category of best actor (female), Richa Sharma and Sangam Bista were awarded, for their roles in ‘Talakjung versus Tulke’ and ‘Love You Baba’ respectively.Meanwhile, Nischal Basnet was chosen as the best director for ‘Talakjung versus Tulke’.Another Nepali feature film, Jhingrana, took home the awards for best cinematography and editing. Runner praises little boy for stepping in after she was catcalled

A woman’s tale of how a little boy stood up for her when she was catcalled by a stranger has gone viral.Julia Price says she was out running when she caught the attention of a man who thought it appropriate to shout out abuse at her.But a little boy who was nearby with his mum jumped in to put the man in his place. Posting on Facebook, Julia said she was on her usual running path when she heard an older man yelling loudly enough for her to hear through her headphones.This ignoring seemed to p* him off so he lashed out and said ‘Eff you, dumb b*!'”According to Julia, who lives in Los Angeles, the man was well-dressed and appeared to be on his lunch break from an office job.She says despite her best attempts, she snapped: “That was my trigger point. He was not born to a well-off family. He neither had any ambitions for his life nor was he passionate about something. He always preferred living a low-keyed life. Kedar Ghimire, 32, more popularly known as “Magne Buda” of the “Meri Bassai” teleserial knew this that the road ahead of him was not a bed of roses. He would have to struggle a lot because there was no one to show him the way or to back him up in times of need. The promising comedy actor is originally from Makwanpur district. His family often went through financial crunches and that was why he used to put on the same dress to go to his school almost for a year. After the untimely demise of his mother during his early childhood, he had to face much more difficulties to grow up as a responsible son to his father, who hardly could do anything to secure his son’s future. Upon completing his secondary level of education he came to Kathmandu in 1993 and joined in law studies for his Intermediate level. He had no clue why he decided to study law. But before he could complete his education, the financial crunch came as a barrier and he had to withdraw his studies.What did not he do after then? “To survive, human beings can go through all sorts of traumas. Work is worshipping, and I never hesitated doing anything,” says the actor.Starting from working a cycle boy delivering spices and tobaccos to shops and from managing to run a roadside shop, Ghimire struggled day and night to earn his keeps. After quite a long while, he succeeded in opening a wholesale shop of mechanical tools and finally settled down to have a family. Still, he had no clue that one day he would become an actor to look up to.He loved writing poems, and one day decided to send it to one FM Radio program to get it recited. Luckily, his poem got selected and he kept on sending more to the same show. And soon, Radio HBC called him to the studio because they wanted him to host the particular show. At first, he could not believe that he got his first fulltime job. But once he started hosting the show, he knew that he was going to give his best and so did he. After a few months, the station manger of the said radio station got pleased with his dedication and offered him to run two more shows, one of which was called “Cow Show”, a program where he got the opportunity to interview household comedians of Nepal.“When you don’t have fortune to back up, when you don’t have a helping hand, fate decides all for you, and for the rest, you have to work hard,” Ghimire said hinting how “Cow Show” became a career opener for him. It was then he met actors like the late Gopal Raj Mainali, Hari Bansha Acharya, Madan Krishna Shrestha, and Daman Rupakheti.

Two people are shown in next scene in which Pade questions for his sister-in- law for escaping after seeing him. His sister said him that he was not well. In the same, she said that the father of Khupi has also passed away. On hearing this, Pande gets shocked. Pade too goes to attend the funeral site. Rakshya waits for Jigree who had said her to bring the chicken for her.

Newar’s culture flourished during the late Malla dynasty from the 15th century up to the 18th century. Many of these Malla kings themselves excelled as musicians, dancers, poets and town planners.

This week Meri Bassai has story of fuel crisis in Nepal. Kaji has lost his firewood. Price of firewood is as much as price of propane gas in Nepal. Last week Meri bassai had story of elderly people and dashain. This story was representation of different family in Nepal. Dhurmus’s neighbor was not treating her mother nicely. The old lady had to eat food she couldnot eat, she was not being treated as guest. Fatauri Budi was not making any goat for this dashain, Bhatbhate was at Kaji’s house to eat some goat meat. Suntali was not happy with her sister in law. Khadka ji had borrowed some money to buy a Sari for Apsara and 1 Kilo of goat meat for Apsara’s brother.

Sitaram Kattel, known as Comedian (Dhurmus), he was born in Solukhumbu district of Nepal where his early life and schooling was completed.
