Diwali is one of the biggest festivals in India. There are several legends behind the festival and it is celebrated in different ways in different parts of the country. But one thing that remains common is the Laxmi Puja.
At business houses, puja is done of the new ledgers; while at homes, the puja includes worshipping the Laxmi idol and jewellery in the house to welcome prosperity and stability.There are specific muhurats to be followed to do the puja which occur on different times on the day of Diwali.
