The most important festival of all Nepali women the haritalika Teej is just a few weeks away. This is the day when ladies fast for the long life for their husband and some prey for a good husband. In this festival women wake up in the morning get dressed in their best attire and go to a temple and worship Lord Shiva. They fast the whole day, they do not even drink water. To forget about hunger and food, they dance all day to Teej songs.
